Message	Tell him you know he did it and that you don't care if he fesses up to it or not. The next time this happens, you will beat his ass. Tell your mom or dad and his mom or dad the situation and say "i'm gonna let this one go, but if it happens again I will physically hurt him for his lack of respect for my property". This should get the point across, and if he does it again then hes had very fair warning and you will make his brain fly outta his ass.
